Vito W639 2005 Tailgate - guide plates?

Hi all,

I've got some issues with the tailgate on my 2005 W639 Vito not lining up. On closer inspection at some point recently, the spring guide plates which side on the side of the tailgate appear to have completely come off on one side and come to bits on the other which is causing problems closing the boot.

The problem is I can't actually find what the parts are called to try and track down a source for replacements.

Does anyone know a common name for the parts in the pictures below?

Not familiar with that type of tail gate as mine has barn doors. somebody on the forum will be clued up on it
