Confirmed I have a slow puncture o/s/f tyre or (hopefully) it just needs reseating on the wheel after a pothole excursion.

As long as that's all it is, I'll take it on the chin.
Hope it's not the alloy...

Off to fav local tyres fitter tomorrow morning. He'll try and charge me nothing to take it off check for leaks remove tyre and reseat it, so will stock up on tea bags, a jar of coffee and a month's (probs a week's) worth of hobnobs and just leave them there.

00slk, have same brake warning now miraculously cured it's self.
My CLK has only done 90K and is serviced/MOT every year, usually around 4/4.5K miles PA.
Next due soon and every thing feels ok, no leaks and brake fluid is full to top.

No, Money Pit doesn't self fix, I had a Renault Laguna that did this :D

W221 S65 AMG - W204 C63 AMG + Various other MB's
Drove hybrid fuel sipper into work
Drove v12 fuel drinker back home.

Still enjoying both cars.

Lovely.

Although the facelift w205 is much less "MB" of the last 40 years and much more "homogeneous car thing".

Yesterday, took it for a drive - 375 miles from the New Forest to Northumberland (Bamburgh) for a few days walking, av 29.4mpg. “They” talk about a north/south divide - after the usual chaos of the M27 and A34 that I’ve become used to, the roads “up north” were pleasantly quiet and good to drive with no delays at all other than roadworks round Doncaster. Colder here though!

Trip up to Greystoke to take a look at this second house, plus a search around of a few other things in the area so ~270 miles yesterday in the old bus, didn’t miss a beat but was a little slow in turning over in the morning after being sat most of the week, so new battery time I think, it is the original so 14 years is not bad

Solved, it seems, the slow puncture.

Usual family chaos met I couldn't get to the tyre fitter, so I tried 50 psi for a few mins, roll the car and the deflate to 30 and inflate back to 39 psi (handbook pressure)

It's held it for two days. Inc round town use, so perhaps it was slightly unseated by the pothole.

Early morning drive to Gatwick for three work days in Barcelona tomorrow, so will see what's it's like after that and three days sat in the car park

Tyre pump is in boot.....
